EXG - Know Your Cover (FAQ’s)
Your EXG cover protects you against losses related to Theft, Accidental Loss, and Accidental Damage of your valuable Golfing Equipment. You have this protection while you are playing or practicing at a golf club and driving ranges in South Africa.You will additionally be covered globally, provided we have given you our written confirmation of global cover, prior to your travels.
- You must have a Bryte Travel insurance policy.
- Please contact us up to 1 week prior to your departure to notify of where you will be traveling to, the club/s you are playing at, including the dates of your trip.
- Your equipment must be kept in a padded golf travel bag.
- If you suffer a loss whilst travelling abroad, we will arrange a rental club (If possible at the golf club that you are playing at) to allow you uninterrupted play while you are away. A replacement will be arranged upon your return to South Africa.

- If the theft occurred at the Golf Club, please report the theft to the club management according to their process.
- Report to the SAPS and forward to us the affidavit and CAS number.
- You are covered for accidental damage while your golf equipment is used whilst playing.
- Please forward to a damage report from the Pro Shop
- Existing Damage including cosmetic damage.
- Gross Negligence e.g. Deliberate and Malicious damages
- Excess is payable upon the authorisation of your claim.
- Your excess is 10% of the claim.
- You may claim for a maximum of 2 claims per 24-month period.
